FILM and Comic Conferences hold a special place in the heart of Stu Arnold, who shot to fame on TV’s Britain’s Got Talent, as it was at a sci-fi con that he met a film star whose words spurred him to take the plunge.

Stu says his encounter with Terminator actress Linda Hamilton changed his life.

“She said I was born to do something with this talent. I was so inspired by this endorsement that I auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and got to the show’s live semi-finals," said Stu.

The singer/actor/impressionist is performing at the Swindon Film and ComCon After-Party at Grange Leisure Centre, Grange Drive, Stratton St Margaret tomorrow, Saturday, June 4 from 7pm.

Variety is not only the spice of life it is the core of Stu’s act which includes tributes to Gary Barlow, Michael Buble, Rick Astley, Bon Jovi and many more.

Stu’s show includes a comedy twist with Keith Lemon, Michael Jackson, and as seen on Britain’s Got Talent, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“I have always spoken like Arnold Schwarzenegger as my name was Arnold and many people comment on its quality,’’ said Stu.

“But Linda knew Arnold and had co starred with him in two Terminator films.’’ He also met the film star himself when he was booked to mingle with guests as the Terminator in An Evening with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Tomorrow he will be perform at the Swindon Film and ComCon after party along with an Abba Tribute, disco and charity auction that includes a stormtrooper suit and a Dark Vader helmet from the moulds of the film studio. The party follows one of the West’s largest ComCons at Steam Railway Museum and guests can mingle with the stars who have attended the ComCon.
