IT is all about the writing when it comes to drama by Viscera Theatre.
Their latest offering, In Tents and Purposes, a comedy sell-out at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, is no different.
The two hander, played by Alys Metcalf and Roxy Dunn, is being performed at Commonweal School, The Mall, Old Town, today, along with comedy shorts by students.
The play focusses on the theme of ‘Do we make our own fortunes or does fate dictate our lives?’.
Tickets are £5 from the school. Roxy appeared regularly in the Channel 4 series Babylon and in BBC3’s Top Coppers and Alys has appeared in London’s West End and has written plays produced in many theatres, including the Ustinov Theatre in Bath and the Salisbury Playhouse.
