JAMES Acaster is undercover. Or at least he swears blind he was.

In his latest show Reset, he relays the improbable succession of events which led to him being entered into a witness protection programme. Make of it what you will.

James has notched up a string of award nominations, including Best Comedy Show at the 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. He took home the Best International Show Award at the 2014 New Zealand International Comedy Festival. It’s been a busy year for James, who not only filmed Sounds Random for BBC Three but released the second series of his online comedy-documentary Sweet Home Ketteringa - in which he visits Lahnstein in Germany, the official twin town of his native Kettering, to connect with his roots on a deeper level.

James’s show at the Arts Centre on Saturday is sold out. For future dates go to www.jamesacaster.com.
