IT wouldn’t be Christmas without good old miser Mr Scrooge. So to get children into the festive mood and teach them about the spirit of sharing, European Arts Company will revisit Dickens’s heart-warming tale, A Christmas Carol next week.
On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by a series of ghosts, starting with his old business partner, Jacob Marley. The three spirits which follow, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come, show him how his mean behaviour has affected those around him. But it’s not too late for him to change his ways.
A Christmas Carol runs at the Arts Centre on Tuesday. Tickets are £16. To book go to swindontheatres.co.uk or call 01793 524481. £1 of each sale will go to Barnardos.
