LEE Hurst’s television heyday may be two decades in the past, but he has lost none of his ability to cause mirth among audiences.
His distinctive brand of humour will be to the fore in his Comedy Show No. 9, which arrives in Swindon on Wednesday, February 22.
Lee was well known as a panellist in the 1990s on the television sports quiz They Think It’s All Over before turning his back on the small screen to run his own Backyard comedy club in London. He has since got the touring bug again and has had a string of successful nationwide shows.
Lee Hurst will perform at the Swindon Arts Centre on Wednesday, February 22 at 8pm. Tickets are £18.50. To book go to swindontheatres.co.uk or call 01793 424481.
