KIDS can have a giggle at a special clown workshop at the Shoebox Theatre tomorrow, as part of the Swindon Fringe Festival
The one-hour workshop aims to help children learn and create through clown techniques and play.
Through different games and exercises creativity will be developed, not only individually but also collectively in a group.
Objects and costumes selected by the children will help in the development of each child. It will be a safe environment where each child will discover their clown within.
Among the areas the workshop will explore are the five basic clown energies and different ways of communicating, such as through body language or gobbledygook.
The youngsters will discover objects and their uses, learn exercises to help free mind and body and allow their spontaneity to emerge.
The workshop takes place at the Shoebox Theatre, Theatre Square, Swindon SN1 1QN tomorrow at noon. It is recommeded for children aged five to 12 and tickets are £5.50 from 01793 524481 or swindontheatres.co.uk.
