A TEENAGER had his teeth knocked out when he and his friend were attacked by a gang.
The group of six men and three women set upon the man, who is in his late teens, and threatened his friend with a broken bottle.
Police are appealing for any information on the assault, which happened at the junction of Thames Avenue and Stour Walk in Greenmeadow just after 9pm on Boxing Day.
DC Tony Mitchell, of Swindon CID, said the victim had suffered serious facial injuries.
One of the attackers wore a blue Lonsdale jacket and another wore a sleeveless white T-shirt and a baseball cap.
DC Mitchell said: "This assault appears to have been unprovoked and police seek any information that may lead to identifying the offenders."
