A MAN was robbed at knifepoint in broad daylight in a popular park.
DC Graham McDonald, of Swindon CID, is appealing for any witnesses to the attack to come forward.
The robber struck at about 3pm on Tuesday in the recreation ground next to Harcourt Road in Ferndale. He stole £20.
"The victim in this case was walking in the park when he was approached by a male who drew a knife and demanded property," said DC McDonald.
"At the time the victim actually remembers seeing two women with bicycles in the park and this appeal is for any witnesses who may have seen the incident of the offender, especially the two women who were on their bicycles in the park at the time."
The attacker was wearing a black jacket and jeans. The victim was wearing shorts and a T-shirt.
