POLICE have reported that traffic is still in queues on the A420 Swindon to Oxford road after it was closed at the Acorn Bridges at Shrivenham.
At 9pm officers said the road is impassable and would be for some time.
There is a tailback of traffic from the A419 which is trying to access the A420.
The White Hart roundabout from the A419 is closed.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area as best as possible.
It is also impossible to get to Swindon from Oxford.
