POLICE have confirmed that the seven-year-old boy knocked down and killed on Drove Road was Tyrese Hannah.
The youngster was walking along the road with his mother on Friday evening when a green Peugot car lost control. The car mounted the pavement and struck Tyrese, leaving him with serious injuries.
Tyrese was rushed to the Great Western Hospital, but doctors were unable to save him and he later died.
