A security guard delivering money to a cash machine was robbed by a gang of masked men.

Police were called at around 10am this morning to the BP service station on Cricklade Road.

Officers attended the scene and found that three men had approached a security guard and taken a cash box containing a sum of money.

No weapon was seen during the robbery and the offenders left the scene on foot in the direction of Penhill.

Witnesses are asked to call the police on 0845 408 7000.
