A MAN has appeared before a judge accused of attempted GBH and threatening to kill a man.
Aziz Hussain is also charged with having a knife during an alleged incident near his town centre home.
The 41-year-old, of Elmina Road, is accused of threats to kill, attempted wounding and having a bladed article in a public place without consent.
No charges were formally put to Hussain and he did not enter any pleas during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday, January 18 when Hussain is due to indicate whether he is guilty or not.
He released Hussain on bail to live at an address in Stoke-on-Trent but allowed him home for the night before the next hearing.
