A HAND-WOUND pocket watch produced to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will be auctioned for charity.

The Deacons limited edition gold pocket watch, worth more than £6,500, will be auctioned at redheadPR’s 121212 event.

The celebration marks the end of the year of the London 2012 Olympics, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, 160 Years of Christ Church, and the 10th anniversary of redheadPR.

Money raised at the black tie event will support the Christ Church Renewal and Development Fund, the Old Town Christmas lights and Willows Counselling Service.

The 17-jewel hand-wound pocket watch was produced by Deacons in conjunction with the Steam Museum to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

It is made of 9carat yellow gold, and comes with a 9carat gold Albert link chain.

With precision Swiss movement, the pocket watch is one of only ten of its kind.

Other auction items include a pair of exclusive crystal encrusted shoes and handbag worth over £300 from Trousseaux, access to a SLK Mercedes-Benz Convertible for the weekend, a lunch with Nick Whatkins, CEO of Swindon Town Football Club, VIP Tickets to the British GT circuit 2013 for two donated by Optimum Motorsport, a professional make-over and photoshoot with Mojo Photo, a colour and cut by Miller and Holland Hairdressing, and a 160-ft bungee jump with the UK Bungee Club. A raffle will be held for all guests.
