Man charged following Wood Street assault
A MAN has been charged in relation to an assault in Wood Street on Bank Holiday Monday.
Abuzer Erdem, 27, of St Austell Way, Swindon, has been charged with wounding / inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and will appear at North West Wiltshire Magistrates Court this morning. He remains in custody at this time.
The 27-year-old victim, Sam Rees, remains in a critical condition at the John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford.
