WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for information after two incidents of arson in Swindon over two days.
The first incident took place on March 31 between 2.30am and 3am when a silver Renault Megane, parked in the Mookrakers pub car park, was set alight.
CCTV images show a suspect on a bike approach the vehicle in the car park before setting it on fire.
The vehicle then explodes into flames and it is believed that the suspect may have suffered burns as a result of this explosion before then cycling down the side of the pub into an alley leading onto Fairford Crescent.
The second incident took place on April 1 at approximately 1.45am when a red Ford Fiesta parked near to the Lloyds bank, in Cricklade Road was set on fire.
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV in relation to this incident.
Community Beat Manager for the West sector, PC David Thompson, said: "Both of these incidents took place on or close to busy roads and, even at this time of day, I would hope someone would have seen something relating to these two arsons.
"After reviewing the CCTV images from the Moonrakers incident, it is highly likely that this suspect will have fresh burns to their hands or face so I would urge anyone who may know someone matching this description to contact us immediately.
"All information will be treated in the strictest confidence."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
