Swindon businesses are being urged to take part in a one-off best practice session on mental health at work organised by the Swindon Mindful Employer Network in association with the  Menzies Swindon Hotel.
The free event for Swindon employers highlights issues relating to identifying and managing mental health in the workplace, engaging employees on wellbeing issues,  good business practice and monitoring outcomes.
Richmond Fellowship’s David Latham who manages the network:
“We are producing a session that picks up on some essential themes around stress and mental health at work. This is an opportunity for employers to come along to share experience and assist each other on this very important matter. We shall also celebrate 5 years since the formation of the Swindon Mindful Employer Network with a buffet lunch courtesy of Swindon Menzies Hotel.”
Confirmed speakers include Steve Exall who is Employee Relations Manager at BT, Geoff Windle of Lift Psychology Service and Adrian Embling, Lisa Monis and Jan Willis of Richmond Fellowship Work Life which is also celebrating 4 years of operation in the Swindon area.
