THE driver involved in a fatal accident at Commonhead roundabout has been released on bail.

Jack Savage, 20, from Wanborough, died in the collision at 3.57am on Saturday, which involved a Ford Fiesta and an articulated lorry.

It happened on the sliproad from the A419 northbound, leading on to the Commonhead roundabout.

The 23-year-old driver, who was taken to Great Western Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has now been released on bail pending further enquiries.
