THE National Self Build and Renovation Centre has won the award for Sustainable Manufacturing, Construction or Design at the Corporate Green Awards.
The awards, organised by the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, aim to reward and promote best practice across the county.
The NSBRC promotes and champions, the development of sustainable, quality housing; using the latest building systems and products from hundreds of manufacturers, and hosts a raft of activities and events that inform, educate and inspire ecologically and environmentally sound building projects.
Their entry highlighted in particular the centre’s programme of Eco Workshops as an example of the work they do to promote sustainable and ecologically beneficial residential housing.
