THE bus route between Hibson Road, Nelson, and Burnley bus station started running again this week.
Lancashire County Council reviewed bus services in Burnley and Pendle, and after feedback from local residents has provided funding for the number 95 service to run every hour during Monday to Saturday daytime.
The service will replace the number 65 route, which currently runs from Hibson Road to Burnley General Hospital, but which passengers said they wanted extending.
Transdev Burnley & Pendle previously operated a service between Hibson Road and Burnley Bus Station until around three years ago, but it was discontinued because it was no longer cost effective.
