DRIVERS are being advised to avoid the town centre area after a lorry struck a bridge.
Police officers received a call to the bridge in Station Road at approximately 12.30pm, following reports that the bridge had been hit.
A temporary road closure is currently in place heading towards Great Western Way while the scene is being made safe by Network Rail.
