A MAN who is accused of burgling five flats, stealing Christmas trees from two of them, is to face trial.
Scott Cadder is also said to have made off with medals, rings and jewellery during the alleged week-long spree of theft.
The 27-year-old pleaded not guilty to five counts of burglary when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
He is accused of burgling four flats in Milverton Court, Park North, and one in the neighbouring block, Torrington Court.
It is alleged that the five raids all took place between Sunday, October 6 and Monday, October 14 last year.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to June 26 and remanded Cadder, formerly of Albany Close, Park South, in custody.
