A MAN who is accused of conspiracy to commit fraud is to face a trial by judge and jury.
Olurtimin Shoderu, who had a fake American driver’s licence when he was arrested, is also said to have had a bogus bank card on him.
The 44-year-old pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to defraud, possessing an article for use in fraud and having an identity document with improper intent.
He admitted perverting the course of justice by using the fake US licence as a means of identity to the police and driving while disqualified.
Shoderu, of Maida Vale, north London, was behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Polo when he was arrested at Mannington Roundabout on Tuesday, February 12 last year.
Recorder Alastair Malcolm QC adjourned the case to Monday, May 19 and remanded him in custody until then.
