Car hits lights
SWINDON: The driver of a blue Fiat Punto ploughed into a set of lights on Thursday after a man ran out into its path.
At 9pm, Wiltshire Police were called by a member of the public after the Fiat crashed into the pelican crossing outside Thamesdown Vets on Akers Way.
The car had swerved to avoid the man and hit a lamppost, ending up partially blocking a footpath. There were no injuries.The car remained there until 1pm on Friday.
