THE 1st Moredon Brownies have been busy collecting money for four local charities this year.
Six weeks ago the Brownies were set a challenge of raising funds as part of their 100 year celebrations and remember that Brownies were set up to ‘do a good turn every day’.
The group has been collecting money for Prospect Hospice, bric-a-brac and quality goods for Swindon Downs Syndrome Group to sell at their regular jumble sales, food for the Swindon Foodbank and doggy items for Swindon Needy Dogs.
A representative from each charity will visit the Brownies on April 24 to collect their donations.
