Try bowls at open event
FERNDALE: Swindon North End Bowls Club, in St Mark’s Recreation Ground, off Ipswich Street, will be opening its green tomorrow at 2.30pm. There is also an open evening on Friday, April 25, from 6pm.
Anyone interested in having a go or considering taking up the sport is welcome. You are advised to wear trainers or flat soled shoes. Bowls woods will be available at the club.
