Concert for Gerry
SWINDON: A concert in aid of Gerry Hunt, who plays with local band Shred and has been told he has just months to live, will be held at Rodbourne Cheney Working Men’s Club on May 3 from 6pm to midnight.
Gerry was diagnosed with follicular non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2011 before entering remission in 2013. Yet by August of that same year he was told the cancer had returned.
