PINEHURST: Earlier this month, Swindon Council went to court regarding two breaches of anti-social behavioural injunctions by the partner of a tenant in Pinehurst.
The judge ruled in favour of the council and found that the perpetrator had breached the injunction to a criminal extent.
The man received a suspended sentence until the injunction expires. The judge also extended the injunction by a further year.
Tenancy Support Manager Barry Rees said: “This will provide residents with the reassurance that should there be any further issues then the perpetrator will be given a custodial sentence.”
