SCORES of people steamed into Coate Water for a go on the miniature railway over the Easter weekend.
Families with young children especially enjoyed the country park’s staple attraction, which was open to the public daily from 11am to 5pm Friday through Monday.
The railway will also be open for the first time tomorrow to celebrate St George’s Day, from around 4pm until dusk.
A spokesman said: “Take the rare opportunity to have a ride round in fading light, which adds a new dimension to the trip.”
Usual fares of £1 for everyone apply.
