A MAN who is accused of breaking into a house while the occupants slept in the dead of night has been remanded in custody by a judge.
Sean Berry is said to have burgled the property on Whitbourne Avenue, in the Parks, on Sunday May 11.
No charge was put to the 20-year-old, of Axbridge Close, Park North, and he did not enter a plea during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Recorder Ian Lawrie QC adjourned the case to Friday August 22 and remanded Berry, who appeared by video link from Bullingdon Prison, in custody until then.
