WITH Father’s Day approaching, Swindon & Cricklade Railway has announced a kind of reverse offer.
The normal offer is Kids Go Free, with a full fare paying adult. This time, the offer is reversed on Father’s Day, this Sunday, to Dads Go Free, with a fare paying child/offspring.
Obviously, there can be times when a father has a grown up offspring with him, which also qualifies for the offer.
Visiting steam locomotive Met 1 will bein action on both days of the weekend to add to the attraction, at the Blunsdon station.
All tickets are rover tickets, giving as many rides as desired on available trains on the day of purchase. Trains run from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Admission prices on both days are £9 for adults, £8 for seniors and £6 for children.
