COATE Water Miniature Railway will be open to the public on Wednesdays from 5pm until dusk throughout the summer.

The weekend of June 14 and 15 is We Remember Sam weekend. There will be visiting locos but the railway will still be open to the public on both days.

June 29 will be the official opening of the special needs coach, which can be used by wheelchair users and their carers or by passengers who have difficulty bending their legs to get on the standard coaches. The major sponsors and the mayor have been invited to the event. This will coincide with the Dragon Boat Races on Coate Water.

Rides cost £1 per person for all openings. The venue will not be open to the public on June 21, July 19 and September 20.
