WILTSHIRE Fire and Rescue Service has dealt with 13 incidents across the region so far today while firefighters have been on strike.
Firefighters took to the picket lines, as part of the 24 hour action at 9am, because of an ongoing pension dispute with the Government.
There have been only three incidents around Swindon which cover crews have had to deal with so far.
They attended a rubbish fire in Toothill at 2.30pm, a faulty waste compactor at 5.30pm and a car fire in Dorcan at 5.40pm.
The Fire Brigades Union will bring the nationwide strike to a close at 9am tomorrow.
