SWINDON: Two men who are charged with blackmail and false imprisonment have been remanded in custody by a judge.
Francis Njoroge and Francis Essilfie are accused of demanding money from a woman with menaces on Thursday, June 19.
Njoroge, 48, and Essilfie, 36, are also said to have falsely imprisoned the woman on the same day.
No charges were formally put to the pair when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court and they did not enter any pleas.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday October 3 and remanded Njoroge, of Medlar Court, Pinehurst, and Essilfie, of Botley, Oxford, in custody.
A third man Fofe Lombo, 30, Whitebeam Court, Pinehurst, is also in custody facing the same charges and will appear before a judge at a later date.
