SWINDON: Swindon Foodbank had an impressive response to the National Trussell Trust Tesco Collection on July 5 and 6.
They collected 2,165.3kgs of food and £303.70 in money donations. The charity thanked all those involved, plus shoppers for their donations and Tesco staff.
There is also a permanent food collection bin in Tesco’s Ocotal Way as well as one in the new Waitrose and now in the Co-Op, Old Town.
