THOSE who fancy their hand at fishing can make the most of the tuition services offered at Cotswold Wildlife Park.

The park is offering one-to-one tuition from friendly, fully qualified angling coaches in a scheme run by the South Cerney Angling Club in partnership with the CWP Trust.

There are free 30-minute sessions for complete beginners and new anglers. All equipment and tuition is provided.

Fishing lessons are available on August 2 and August 16 from 10am to 4.30pm, and take place at Lake 23, Wickwater Lane, just off the Spine Road, near South Cerney.

For a free map of the Cotswold Water Park, call in to the Gateway Information Centre.

Along with the fishing lesson, there will be an opportunity for some lake dipping, to learn about the incredible diversity of wildlife living in the lakes of the Cotswold Water Park, and also to find out about the Golden Rules for anglers.

Places are limited and therefore booking for these lessons is essential – people can call Craig Hunt on 07989 973217.
