A 28-YEAR-OLD man was assaulted in Swindon on Saturday afternoon.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident, in the pedestrian tunnel in Bristol Street, at around 2.45pm on Saturday.
The 28-year-old man was walking along the tunnel, which runs from the town centre to the Swindon Designer Outlet Village, when he was assaulted by a lone male.
As a result, the victim received injuries to his face.
The suspect is described as a white male of slim build with ginger hair. He also had a Celtic style tattoo on the right side of his neck.
He was pushing a blue mountain bike at the time of the attack.
