THE Peugeot team from Fish Bros on Great Western Way has delivered a second new van to local charity Swindon Foodbank.

Thanks to funding from a local company, Imagine Cruising, Peugeot was able to supply the Swindon Foodbank with an Expert van, enabling the team to load and unload deliveries with ease.

Swindon Foodbank offers practical help to those facing sudden crises and aims to be there for anyone who finds themselves in sudden financial difficulty and needs food for themselves and their families.

Simon Bradbury, sales manager at Fish Bros, said: “As a company, we like to work with good local causes and provide great deals. We provided Swindon Foodbank with its previous van, so when the team approached us again with a tight budget for a new one, we really wanted to help, and were delighted to work with Imagine Cruising to support this worthwhile cause.

“The Expert van is the ideal choice for the team at the Swindon Foodbank – it has 40 per cent more space than the previous van, but is still compact enough to make parking easy, with the added advantage of two doors.”

Andrew Hill, project manager at Swindon Foodbank, said: “We work with such a tight budget, and without the support from companies like Fish Bros and Imagine Cruising we wouldn’t have been able to make the dream of having a second van a reality. We can now move food around from donors to our warehouse, then from the warehouse to our clients with ease thanks to the addition of a larger, second van.”
