X FACTOR runners-up JLS, Britain's Got Talent winners Diversity plus chart-topping performer Tinchy Stryder are among acts lined up to star at the MOBO Awards in Glasgow.

Organisers of the global music bash have confirmed some of the performers making the trip at the end of the month for the show which will be beamed around the world.

Urban music trio N-Dubz, dance troupe Flawless - who also found fame on Britain's Got Talent - as well as rappers Bashy and Ironik will also perform at the SECC event.

X Factor winner Alexander Burke is also tipped to be appearing.

As revealed exclusively in the Evening Times when the nominations were announced last month, Jermaine Jackson will lead a tribute to Michael at the awards.

Organisers have confirmed he will sing Jacko's hit Smile, which he performed at the star's lavish memorial service in LA.

Jackson will be joined in the tribute by Britain's Got Talent finalist Shaheen Jafargoli who will sing I'll Be There as he did at the memorial on invitation of the Jackson family.

It is expected the Music Of Black Origin event could reach 250million people in 60 countries across the world.

It was first revealed by the Evening Times that the awards were coming to Glasgow in April. They are expected to generate £3.6m for the city.

Councillor Steven Purcell, leader of Glasgow City Council and chairman of Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, said: "It will be a night that all of Glasgow can revel in."
