THE M4 is now fully reopened and delays have cleared after an earlier accident.
One lane was closed eastbound between Junction 16 and 17 after a car left the carriageway and went into a hedge.
All emergency services went to the scene, Wiltshire Air Ambulance landing on a nearby field.
Police and ambulance were called to the incident just before 1pm after a number of reports from members of the public.
One male casualty was taken to hospital.
The Highways Agency has now reported that all lanes are now open.
