A WROUGHTON bake-off was a sweet success raising £200 which will split between the Guides and the Scouts.
The event took place at the Ellendune Community Centre with cakes of all shapes and sizes being entered in the various categories.
There was a under 10s section, as well as a 11 to 16 competition and a contest for those over 16.
Pam Baker, one of the event’s organisers, said the event had been a 'tasty' success, with visitors and competitors having a great day raising money for the two village groups.
“We had 37 entries, we had Alice in Wonderland shaped cakes, Lego-inspired ones, and one like a zebra," she said.
"There was a truly great atmosphere and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
“We were delighted to raise so much money for the two groups.
"We’d like to thank everyone who attended and took part.”
