POLICE are appealing for information after a purse was stolen from a town centre shop.
The incident happened at around 11.55am on January 8 at the Monsoon Accessorize store, in Swindon Road.
The purse, which belonged to a 31-year-old woman from Swindon, contained cash, several bank cards and a driving licence.
"The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 18 to 28 years old, with straight blonde hair just below her shoulders," said a police spokesman.
"She was wearing a light coloured hoody over a peach coloured top and a beige patterned scarf. She was carrying multiple bags including a large dark tan coloured handbag."
Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
