Melanie Richens, 45, life coach at the Life Coaching Centre in Old Town
Do you cook a lot yourself? What is your failsafe dish?
Not as much as I would like, I’m rarely at home in the evenings! I do make a mean vegetable lasagne!
Where do you like to eat out? How often?
It depends on my mood and who I’m with - usually Italian but I do like a good curry – Rangoli would be my top choice. Maybe once a week
What do you always hope to find on a menu? For starter? Main course? Dessert?
To start – seafood, maybe king prawns or calamari.
Main Course – Pasta, usually with a tomato sauce (and lots of olives)
I usually skip dessert in favour of a good coffee.
Which foods did you hate as a child? Do you eat them now?
I hated tinned peaches and still do – nasty slimy things!
What is your favourite drink? Alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Favourite alcoholic drink – a nice glass of Malbec.
Non alcoholic – coffee.
Marmite: yes or no?
Definitely.
What is your guilty pleasure when it comes to food... something you know you shouldn’t eat, but do anyway?
Crisps.
You are on your own at home watching a film. What is you snack of choice?
Toasted pitta bread dipped in hummus
You’re eating a bacon sandwich...ketchup, brown sauce or nothing at all?
Has to be ketchup!
