THREE people who conspired to burgle premises in Highworth and South Marston have been warned they could be facing jail.

William Hunt, Jasmine Pritchet and Scott Harrington all pleaded guilty to the charge when they appeared before Swindon Crown Court.

And a judge warned Harrington, 25, Hunt and Pritchet, both 20, not to read anything into the fact they have been granted bail.

The trio all admitted conspiracy to burgle in Friday, January 16, but they will not face sentence until the case of a fourth person has been dealt with.

Grant Walker, 23, of no fixed abode did not enter a plea to the allegation when he appeared before the court.

Recorder David Bartlett adjourned his case to Thursday, July 16, and released him on conditional bail until then.

He also released Hunt, of Swindon Street, Highworth, Pritchet, of Broadleaze, Down Ampney, Cirencester, and Harrington, of no fixed abode, on conditional bail.

He told them: "You have all pleaded guilty to a serious offence of conspiracy to burgle and the fact I am giving you bail is no sort of indication of what the final sentence will be.

"But I am giving you bail because the date for sentence is a long time off and it could be months rather than weeks."

The three were arrested on the Friday night following reports of two dwelling burglaries, in Rivers Way in Highworth and Rawlings Close in South Marston.
