A FAMILY heirloom, a silver pocket watch and other items of jewellery have been stolen from a house in Old Town.
Now Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after the house was burgled.
The incident happened on Friday, November 6, in Pleydell Road sometime between 8am and 3.15pm.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "Offender(s) broke in and stole a number of items including a family heirloom; a solid silver pocket watch with a white face and roman numerals.
"It had Laing's Jewellers printed on it in gold, a heavy silver chain was attached and was housed in a red velvet pouch along with a key for winding the watch.
"Other items of jewellery and DVDs were also taken.
"If anyone is offered this watch, sees it for sale or has any information about the break-in please contact PC Sophia Best on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
