THE heavy rain has led to railway lines between Swindon and Bristol Parkway lines being blocked tonight.
Great Western Railway says trains may be delayed by up to 35 minutes or diverted.
Trains in and out of London Paddington were already being revised or cancelled because of overhead wire damage.
GWR has reported flooding blocking lines in Cornwall and Devon while a tree on the line between Castle Cary and Taunton is causing delays.
And Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service is warning people to take extra care after several calls about flooding in Wiltshire and Dorset, with bad weather expected to continue into Monday.
