POLICE have released CCTV images following a theft from a department store in Swindon.
At about 1pm on Thursday, January 21, a man went to the customer service desk the John Lewis store in Mannington Retail Park.
He asked a staff member to show him the new iPhone 6s in rose gold, worth almost £700. He then distracted the staff and left the store with the phone, making no attempt to pay for it.
The man is described as white, middle aged, with short grey hair. He was wearing a black jacket, white shirt, black trousers, white shoes and was carrying a white carrier bag.
