Further to previous donations earlier in the year, The Alzheimer’s Society and Prospect Hospice both received £2,829.76 at a cheque presentation last Wednesday (Mar 9).

Local child leukaemia charity CALM have also benefitted from donations made throughout last year.

The majority of Catalent employees have participated in one of the company’s fundraising activities which included a night trek up Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales, a quiz night, a 10 km cross-country run, and a sponsored bicycle ride

Graham Prictor, Catalent’s sports, social and charity lead at Swindon, said: “Being able to give back to the local community, where so many of our employees are based has been very rewarding.

“We thank the company for matching the sums we have raised over the last twelve months to make the total well over ten thousand pounds.”

Employees, with the help of the Sports, Social and Charity committee, are already planning how to fundraise even great amounts of money throughout 2016.
