A SALON owner crowned as the Swindon Advertiser’s Hairdresser of the Year is hoping to add even more silverware to her mantelpiece this weekend.

On Sunday, the team at Jessica's hair and Beauty will be travelling to Manchester to the prestigious English Hair and Beauty Awards with high hopes of winning two categories.

They are nominated for the "Team/Service of the year” award while Emily Cooper is up for Junior Stylist of the year 2016.

This won’t be the first taste of competition success for the staff at Jessica's hair and Beauty as they were recognised as the Hairdressing Salon of the Year in the Swindon Advertisers 2014 Hairdresser of the Year Awards.

The English Hair & Beauty Awards show appreciation for those in the beauty industry that leave us looking and feeling fantastic and he public have voted in their thousands, for their favourite hair and beauty specialists from across the country. These awards provide a platform to thank those in the beauty industry, letting them know that their good work doesn’t go un-noticed.

As chosen by the public, finalists from across England will be invited to attend the glamorous ceremony, where winners will be awarded the best in the hair and beauty industry.

The salon currently has a team of six stylists and one beautician and have plans for expansion in the summer.
