TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering Grzegorz Beyer, police have said this afternoon.
The men, aged 27 and 29, from Swindon but originally from Poland, are currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station.
Both men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted robbery.
A police spokesman said: "Mr Beyer’s family have been informed of this development."
It follows a police appeal launched yesterday into the 40-year-old father of three's death.
Mr Beyer, of Edmund Street died on Wednesday in hospital surrounded by his family.
He was assaulted in the early hours of Monday morning in the town centre during a night out with friends.
