The Grumpies are back with another outrageous and hilarious live show.

Perrier Award-winning comedian, writer and original star of Grumpy Old Women Jenny Eclair will be joined by fellow recruits Susie Blake and actress and singer Kate Robbins in the new and improved Grumpy Old Women: Fifty Shades of Beige.

The jam-packed show will etach audiences a thing or two about the art of grumpy grooming, the joy of large pants, middle-aged drinking, navigating the smorgasbord of worry, voluntary euthanasia vs. retirement, beards for women and how to customise an unwanted pole dancing kit. The trio will also throw in a mercifully brief Zumba demonstration, a complimentary anger management workshop and a free nagging masterclass (how to get your own way without him even noticing), beards for women, which style will suit you?

Jenny Eclair has appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, the Grumpy Old Women series, the Grumpy Guides, Grumpy Holidays and It’s Grim up North. She also occasionally crops up on day time telly shows like This Morning and Loose Women.

Her biggest hit to date has been co-writing (with Judith Holder) and starring in Grumpy Old Women Live and Grumpy Old Women Live: 2 Chin Up Britain.

Susie Blake is best known for playing Bev Unwin in Coronation Street – she left the show in 2006 - and Hilary Nicholson in Mrs Brown's Boys.

She first toured with the Grumpies, in Grumpy Old Women 2 in 2009 alongside Jenny Eclair and Wendi Peters.

Kate Robbins came to prominence in the early 1980s when she scored a UK number two with the song More Than in Love, while starring in soap opera Crossroads. She has appeared in Holby City, two series of Where the Heart Is, Doctors and Casualty.

Come and bask what is described as 'an orgy of fury and big laughs in this glorious live version of the hit TV show'.

Grumpy Old Women comes to the Wyvern on Wednesday, May 18 at 8pm. Tickets are £26. To book visit swindontheatres.co.uk or call 01793 524481.
